Message from
Director

IMOTO Masakatsu

The Center for Cluster Development and Coordination (CCD) was established in 2005 to promote collaboration among the companies, research institutes/universities, and medical institutions among KBIC members and to generate synergetic effects to establish an consistent support system. Going forward, we will work to form an ecosystem to promote innovative activities where cutting-edge technologies will be born one after another, utilizing the networks we have built up to date. Through such commercialization and global expansion support, we aim to develop innovative products and services to foster startups that will play an active role in Japan and abroad. By providing opportunities for interaction and networking to enhance the R&D environment, we will promote the acquisition and retention of excellent human resources by strengthening our support for securing and training personnel to form an attractive, one and only medical cluster in Japan.
